Achievement Bute is a families-led voluntary organisation
We provide a wide range of inclusive activities for all children and young people on Bute. We were set up by parents of children with disabilities in 1998 who wanted to make sure that all young people could be fully included in activities in their local community.
We rely on support from our local community to provide our services. Read on to find out about the ways we support families on Bute and the ways you can support us.
Activities and Events all children can enjoy
We run activities and events year-round for children and young people 5-16 years old. There’s lots of variety and many ways to take part, and we ensure that all of our events are inclusive.
Support for Children and their Families
Our Support Workers provide additional support so that children and young people can achieve their potential. Our support also extends to helping family members of children/young people with additional needs.
Young Volunteer Programme
Every year young people on Bute can take part in our Young Volunteer Programme. It’s great for building confidence and developing skills, and a great first step into a career working in child care.
